Hock Lian Seng ("HLS") was founded in 1969 and for a period of over 40 years has undertaken and completed a wide range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects for both public and private sectors in Singapore. These include MRT depots, bridges, expressways, water infrastructures and other specialised marine works such as dredging, reclamation and seawall construction. As proofs of our commitment to deliver high quality works to our Clients, we have received several awards and certifications.

In December 2009, Hock Lian Seng Group was listed on SGX Mainboard with the objectives of broadening and strengthening growth in the construction industry locally and regionally. As a Group, HLS manages its core business activities which include civil engineering, building construction, property development and investment.

Civil Engineering Construction

Hock Lian Seng Infrastructure is registered with the Building Construction Authority (BCA) as Grade A1 contractor for civil engineering works, hence there is no restrictions to our tendering limits. We carry out civil engineering works for bridges, expressways, tunnels, MRT, port facilities, water and sewage facilities and other infrastructure works. A number of these projects have been conferred "Construction Excellence" awards and are recognised landmarks in Singapore. Most of our projects are based in Singapore but we have also successfully delivered roads and Rapid Transit System in China and Taiwan respectively. Since commencement of our business, our major customers are government and government-related bodies of Singapore which include LTA, HDB, PSA, PUB and CAAS.

Building Construction

Being categorised by BCA as Grade A1 contractor for Buildings Works, we have undertaken construction of HDB, private residential and industrial projects.

Property Development and Investment

We have added property development and property investment as one of the Group's principal activities in an Extra-Ordinary General Meeting Held on 17th August 2010.

We would seek opportunities to secure land for development and investment in the industrial, residential and commercial sectors.
